Calendar This page lists my forthcoming public activities. Most of my time I spend giving astrological readings and writing. Occasionally I give lectures or workshops or sign books. Merging Astrology and Dreams - A weekend workshop at Kentucky's beautiful Shaker Village May 13-15, 2011 LIMITED TO 20 PARTICIPANTS SO BOOK EARLY! You’re invited to join a small group of dreamers and star gazers to explore your dreams as they relate to your individual natal astrological chart. In this workshop you will explore how your dreams help unlock the mysteries contained in your birth chart. A natal horoscope though unique and personal, often seems confusingly complex and rich. It can quickly become unintelligible with multiple inconsistent stories all present at once. When you add your dreams—current or past, recurring or unique, nightmarish or blissful—and weave them into the exploration of your personal story, than at once you gain new clarity. This can be a hugely enriching and completely new experience. Using archetypal language, you learn how to move seamlessly between your dreams and your chart and thereby find clarity where before there was none. The workshop includes:
Dates: Friday, May 13th, 6:00 - 9:00 PM. Saturday, May 14th, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Sunday, May 15th, 9:00 AM - Noon. Place: Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill, 3501 Lexington Road, Harrodsburg, Kentucky 40330 Cost: $400 includes buffet lunch on Saturday catered by the Inn at Shaker Village. Accommodations: For those arriving from out of town, there are a limited number of rooms available at Shaker Village. All rooms feature handcrafted Shaker furnishings, modern baths and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. If you want to stay at the Village, book early. Jung in the Heartland - Portals To The Sacred II November 9-13, 2011. I will be presenting a pre-conference workshop Wednesday evening and Thursday all day, November 9-10. I will also give a break-out presentation at the conference. The pre-conference workshop is similar to the workshop in Kentucky in May. If you can't make one, be sure to come to the other! The Breaking In Of The Untamable - An Astrological Explanation Of The Emerging Zeitgeist Astrologers these days are getting inundated with questions that can be summed as, "What the heck is going on?!" This lecture/slideshow puts our times and the powerful manifestations we are witnessing into a comprehensive, meaningful and optimistic perspective. Continuation of Advanced Classes in Astrology - To be announced This is a wonderful class of advanced astrology students and we meet once a week at my house in St. Louis. While this group has become a nice "whole" they are also open to new input and ideas and welcome additional members. The class will be limited to 10 and there are currently six signed up. We will continue to look at current trends from all media and relate them back to our own charts and to those of people of interest to us. We will also study further techniques that enhance our abilities to read charts. This teaching opportunity continues to be a remarkable experience for me. The way this class has helped each other understand every student's chart and the implied stories in it, has been moving for all.
