Calendar This page lists my forthcoming public activities. Most of my time I spend giving astrological readings and writing. Occasionally I give lectures or workshops or sign books. After numerous requests Richard Olivier and I are offering another workshop in the US, right here in the heartland in St. Louis. We have decided to strictly limit this workshop to 12 people and word got out so fast that we already have a few sign-ups before we made an announcement. The goal during this 3-1/2 day long weekend is to have enough time to work with each participant personally as well as allow for group activities and lecture times. If you are interested in this event, I encourage you to sign up immediately. This will be a most intense weekend and we ask you to completely clear your calendar if you will be joining us. If you cannot stay through the end, PLEASE sign up for another workshop in the future! No prior knowledge of astrology, Macbeth, Shakespeare or theatre is required.
Ethical leadership requires insight, commitment and courage. Shakespeare’s greatest psychological thriller provides fascinating insights into the behaviors that can make or break individuals and groups. By living through this myth participants will explore the essentials of inner leadership through two very different characters; Malcolm and Macbeth. Most of us know Macbeth - we need only turn on the daily news. His descent from fearless warrior to ruthless tyrant is a compelling tale of high achievement turning to tragedy. We will learn how to identify excessive and dangerous behaviors – both in ourselves and others - before derailment becomes inevitable. Not so many of us know about Malcolm. His journey is less publicized but more successful. Through his character we explore the development of ethical ambition and courageous leadership. Malcolm’s example proves that we can become generative leaders, creating meaning for our individual ‘kingdoms’ and hope for our collective future. Our premise will be that at this time in history the dark feminine is re-visiting us with a message and many challenges in what astrologers call a major Pluto transit. Our foundational beliefs are being ground into pulp. At this time the heavenly bodies also give us much insight and opportunity to understand not just what is going on but also how we each partake and shape these times through our own astrological charts. New approaches and new leaders are needed now. This workshop is about helping you, in concordance with your astrological chart, mythodrama and theatre, to constellate your response to these times in a way that is not only in harmony with who you are but in a way that helps the world. Richard and I want to encourage more people to step into positions of leadership (on any scale) with the courage and ethical integrity that the planet requires to survive into the next century. Applying ancient (astrology and theatre), old (Shakespeare) and new (psychology) techniques, we will guide participants towards such a goal. We have allocated a certain number of places in each category: 5 places @ $975, 5 places @ $685 and 2 places @ $395. We do not wish to exclude anyone from this event and have therefore chosen this fee structure relying solely on your fair assessment of your situation. Continuation of Advanced Classes in Astrology - Dates to be announced St. Louis, Missouri.
This is a wonderful class of advanced astrology students and we meet once a week at my house in St. Louis. While this group has become a nice "whole" they are also open to new input and ideas and welcome additional members. The class will be limited to 10 and there are currently six signed up. We will continue to look at current trends from all media and relate them back to our own charts and to those of people of interest to us. We will also study further techniques that enhance our abilities to read charts. This teaching opportunity continues to be a remarkable experience for me. The way this class has helped each other understand every student's chart and the implied stories in it, has been moving for all.
